A Tour of Atlanta's Newly Curated Collection of Civil Rights & Social Justice Murals
Off the Wall is a city-wide public mural initiative led by the non-profit arts organization WonderRoot and the Atlanta SuperBowl Host Committee, featuring a carefully curated selection of eleven renowned artists and over 25 murals throughout the city.
Inspired by 43 Community Conversations in the summer of 2018, the Off the Wall shares elements of Atlanta’s civil rights and social justice journey, elevating key stories and ideas present in our city’s ongoing pursuit of a wide range of civil rights, human rights, and a more equitable future for all.
Whether you are a lifelong student and advocate for civil rights and social justice, a visitor who wants an immersive local experience; or someone who simply enjoys Atlanta’s extensive commitment to public art, this tour will provide you with a unique and colorful perspective on some of the most important issues – past, present, and future – in our city, and society as a whole. We invite you to be a part of this special journey.
